Why do I get:

*Warning*: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in

This is because you haven't created a menu link to the Eventlist Component.

Please create a menu link to the Eventlist Component and these Warnings will disappear.

Internet Explorer Cannot Open the Internet Site... Operation Aborted PDF Print E-mail

Q: I get Internet Explorer Cannot Open the Internet Site... Operation Aborted

A: Blame Microsoft for this one!
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/927917

It is linked to the Tooltips provided by Joomla and occurs usually on large pages:

The simplest solution is to change:

/libraries/joomla/html/html/behavior.php
~line 108

$tooltipInit = ' window.addEvent(\'domready\', function(){ var JTooltips = new Tips
($$(\''.$selector.'\'), '.$options.'); });';

To:

$tooltipInit = ' window.addEvent(\'load\', function(){ var JTooltips = new Tips
($$(\''.$selector.'\'), '.$options.'); });';

Or you can turn the Tootips off.

Or you can do as Microsoft suggest and persuade your users to upgrade to IE8 or just use Firefox!

How do I Create and Use Multiple Calendars? PDF Print E-mail

For the calendar module (and the EventList Latest Events module for Upcoming events) you can now create multiple copies and set them to filter by category and/or venue.

When you install the calendar module - you will find the module in your administrator panel module manager.
If you select the module and then select Copy you can create a second copy of your module.

Having created another copy, you can now change all it's parameters - Name, Which menu items / pages it is displayed on, which categories to filter by etc.

To filter on one or more Categories - enter their numeric IDs separated by commas into the Category ID box.
You can find the Category IDs by going to Eventlist Component / Categories and there you will find the numeric ID's associated with each category.

You can do this for venues in a similar way.

How Do I Make The Calendar Bigger / Smaller PDF Print E-mail

The style of the calendar is controlled by the calendar stylesheet.

This is mod_eventlistcalq.css for the Joomla 1.0.xx version and mod_eventlistcal15q.css for the Joomla 1.5.x version.

To adjust the calendar to make it bigger or small you need to change the overall size of the calendar and the sizes of the individual cells and adjust the font sizes as well.

Languages in Calendar Module PDF Print E-mail

As of version 0.9 (for Joomla 1.5.x) there is now a parameter setting that lets you choose between using the Joomla language files for the months and days and using your server locale files.

From version 0.9 the Joomla language file will be the default.

Always try the calendar in default mode using just your normal settings (this is the way the calendar is installed). If it works - Great, you don't need to do anything!

Switch the parameter for using the default language off and use the locale override if you wish to display the calendar in a language other than your Joomla default language.

The following describes how to use the locale override and uses the locale files installed on your server.
