Question marks for some symbols problem 2 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi , I have a problem with Calendar module.Actually I am not sure that it is in the Calendar module itself but any help is appreciated.

The site is cirylic in utf-8 encoding. The problem is that on some pages the name of the current month in the calendar appears OK, but on some pages some of the characters in the name of the month are replaces with a question mark in a white diamond.
I guess it is some encoding problem couldn't find out how to fix it.Do you have any ideas?

Thanks

I have similar problem with polish language. Calendar is only on the front page, and questions marks replaces all polish letters.

Is there somebody who can tell what's wrong, and how to fix it?

Firstly - When you installed Joomla - what language did you choose.
In it's default mode the calendar will pick up your default language settings. You only need to play with the language parameters if you are trying to display a language other than your default.
